Todos
Projects, lists, sections, tags and saved views. Capture a thought in two seconds and sort it out later, or never.
Todos, habits, planner, tracker and an inbox for everything else
Kanso is a personal productivity app for people who keep too many tabs open. Plan the week, keep your habits going, log what you watch and read, and save links for later. It works offline, syncs to every device, and can be driven from the keyboard.

What's inside
They share one command palette, one set of shortcuts and one sync, so a todo can sit next to a calendar event and the movie you keep meaning to watch.
Projects, lists, sections, tags and saved views. Capture a thought in two seconds and sort it out later, or never.
Tick off the things you want to do every day and watch the streak grow. Skip a day and the grid will notice.
Morning, evening, gym day, packing for a trip. Write the steps once and run them as a checklist every time.
Your calendar and your todos on the same timeline, so you can see what actually fits in a day before you promise it.
Paste a link to a movie, show, book, video game or board game. The poster, year and details fill in, and you track what you finished.
A board for the things you want to buy, with links and prices. Good for gift ideas, and for letting an impulse buy cool off.
Throw in links, notes and images without deciding where they belong. Search finds them later.
Ask it to reschedule Friday, add a few todos or sum up your week. It works on your real data, and asks before it deletes anything.
Why bother
A few choices that make it feel different from the usual todo app.
A todo app, a habit tracker, a calendar view, a watchlist, a reading log, a bookmark pile and a wishlist. That used to be eight logins and eight subscriptions.
Your data lives in a database on your device and syncs in the background. Screens open instantly, and it keeps working on a plane.
Press ⌘K to jump anywhere or do anything, and every screen has shortcuts. The mouse is welcome, just rarely needed.
Bring a key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. You pick the model, and you pay the provider directly.
Everything the app can do is also a REST endpoint and an MCP tool, so your scripts and AI agents can add todos or read your planner too.
Flip one switch to hide work stuff in the evening and personal stuff during the day. Available on the web, as a browser extension, and on iOS and Android.
FAQ
The short version of how Kanso works.
Kanso is a personal productivity app: todos, habits, routines, a planner, a wishlist, a tracker for movies, shows, books and games, and a Dump for links and notes. There is also an AI chat that can read and change all of it for you.
People who run their life from a laptop, like keyboard shortcuts, and are tired of keeping a todo app, a habit app, a calendar, a reading list and a bookmarks folder in sync by hand.
Yes. Your data is stored on the device first, so you can read and change everything without a connection. Changes sync to your other devices when you are back online.
No. Everything except the AI chat works without one. To use the chat, add a key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint in settings. Requests go to that provider and are billed by them.
The web app, a browser extension, and native apps for iOS and Android. They all sync with each other.
Yes. You can export your todos, and every feature is available over a REST API and MCP, so a script or an AI agent can read your data with an API key you create in settings.
Create an account, add a few todos and a habit, and press ⌘K. You will know in five minutes if it fits.
